DESCRIPTION:
Chandler type "New Hampshire Mirror" wall clock 8 day time and alarm weight driven movement in mahogany case with reverse painted upper glass and mirrored tablet, c1820, as-found
CONDITION:
The case has a nice old refinish with a glue repair to the top left scroll; this model did not come with a center finial. The upper glass has been repainted and the mirror is original with great original weight. The entire alarm train, disc, bell and alarm weight are missing. For reference please see Figure 430, page 227 in Charles S. Parsons "New Hampshire Clocks and Clockmakers".
